Customer photo review of Big Agnes | Divide Insulated

Very happy with the Big Agnes sleeping pad, Kelty sleeping bag, and Kelty tent. All three items are great for packing, and they work great.

Big Agnes | Divide Insulated

How water tight the bag is roved to be a catch 22. I am using it to store sipce packets like ketchup, soy sauce and hot sauce. The bag was airtight as well. So I would have to slightly open the zipper to let the air out when storing in the drybag.

Customer photo review of UST | Spright Recharge LED Lantern

I purchased this before they came out with the rechargeable version. I love the ability to hang this in my tent or set it on a table as I watched the moon come up. My next purchase will be the rechargeable if this one ever dies.

UST | Spright Recharge LED Lantern

Awesome company to deal with, take good care of their customers and carry a broad selection of quality products, this is definitely one of them! Well constructed and works better than advertised! Happy return customer and will be for many years!

Big Agnes | Big Six Camp Chair

Customer photo review of Big Agnes | Copper Spur UL3 Bikepack Tent | New 2026

The big Agnes’s copper spur 3 man tent was great on an 11 day ride from South Dakota thru Wyoming and Montana. Plenty of room to store gear in for those nights when it’s raining too.

This is a great pillow for moto camping. Packs down fairly small and you can adjust the firmness. Stuffed a jacket underneath to get a little extra lift, but I just needed some extra elevation. Worked great and looking forward to many more trips with it.

NEMO | Fillo Wide Camping Pillow

Honestly Crap. Can’t return obviously as I used it for a week on a BDR. It was better than nothing. But I know i have one i used in my hammock camping phase that packed done way smaller and was way more comfortable. This just sucked in opinion the 1 item in the “best Value kit” I’d skip and find a replacement on your own. I won’t be taking it with me again it’s to bulky and big and not as comfortable as it should be for it’s size. That said glad i had it and not nothing. But compared to the one I should have dug out of my hammock camping kit. It was crap.

NEMO | Fillo Wide Camping Pillow

I used the Wide Regular 25” x 72” version on the Utah BDR, paired with the Big Agnes Echo Park 20°F sleeping bag, and overall it made for a really good motorcycle-camping sleep system. I’m about 6 feet tall, so my feet would occasionally hang slightly off the end of the 72-inch pad depending on how I was positioned. It wasn’t a major issue, but if you’re around my height or taller, I would consider one of the longer sizes. The first night I also made the mistake of inflating the pad too firmly. Once I figured out the right pressure and let a little air out, it became substantially more comfortable. It isn’t quite as comfortable as the full-size foam mattress I use in my rooftop tent, but that’s obviously a very different setup. For something that packs onto a motorcycle, this was more than adequate and gave me the rest I needed to get back on the bike and continue riding the BDR day after day. It also worked really well with the Echo Park 20°F bag and kept me plenty warm. In fact, riding the Utah BDR through the mountains in late August, that combination was warmer than I really needed. I’ve since picked up the 35°F version of the Echo Park for warmer summer trips. The included inflation pump sack worked surprisingly well. I was impressed with how easily I could inflate the pad without having to blow it up manually. That said, after a long day of riding, I really would have appreciated having an electric pump. I wish one had either been included or more prominently suggested as part of the sleep system (best value Kit) when I originally bought everything. I’ve since picked up a pump and am looking forward to trying it on my next camping trip. One thing I particularly appreciated was how quickly the pad packed back up in the morning. Deflation and cleanup were easy, which matters when you’re breaking camp every morning on a BDR. Overall, it’s a good balance between comfort, insulation, packed size, and practicality for motorcycle camping. Most importantly for me, I can be prone to waking up with a stiff back after sleeping poorly. Once I had the firmness dialed in, this pad gave me enough support and rest that I was able to get up each morning, get moving, and continue riding day after day.

Customer video review of Alps Mountaineering | Helix 2 Person Tent

I used this tent while riding the Utah BDR and overall it worked really well. I don’t have any major complaints about the tent itself. It packed well on the motorcycle, gave me the space I needed at camp, and did exactly what I needed it to do throughout the trip. The main reason I’m giving it 4/5 instead of 5/5 is setup time. It wasn’t quite as quick or intuitive to set up as I would ideally like for motorcycle camping. I was usually taking about twice as long to get my tent set up as my buddy who was riding the BDR with me. That comparison isn’t entirely fair, though. He’s had his tent for more than five years and has done plenty of backpacking and hiking trips with it, while I was still getting familiar with mine. I’m sure I’ll get significantly faster with more practice. Overall, I’m very happy with the tent. It performed well on a multi-day BDR trip and I don’t have any real complaints about its quality or design. I’d just like the setup process to be a little quicker, especially after a long day on the motorcycle.

Alps Mountaineering | Helix 2 Person Tent

I love the design of this sleeping bag, especially when combined with a sleeping mat. The 20°F bag fits in one side of my Tusk Highland X2 luggage without a compression stuff sack. I just picked up a compression sack to try to get it to pack down a little easier because I’d prefer it not to take up that entire side of the luggage. That said, I think some of the bulk is just the reality of choosing synthetic insulation instead of full down. I knew that when I bought it, and I’m okay with the tradeoff. I also just picked up the 35°F version. Even in the mountains of Utah during my late-August BDR trip, the 20°F bag was warmer than I needed. The 35°F bag had originally been sold out, so I bought the 20°F to meet my trip deadline, and it worked great. When I saw the 35°F version on sale later, I grabbed one for warmer summer trips. I’m hoping it will give me the same sleeping setup I really like while cutting down on luggage bulk when I don’t need the extra insulation. Overall, this isn’t just a decent sleeping bag—I think it’s a brilliant design. It’s roomy, works great with my sleeping pad, and was very comfortable throughout my BDR trip. I’m happy to have both temperatures now and can choose between them depending on the trip and weather. I just wish they still made the down bag.

I wore these pants for 10,000 miles on a 24 Tiger 900 Rally Pro as I crossed the country while riding the Trans America Trail, the Alpine Loop in Colorado, hit temps of 110 F in Nevada and drove along the Pacific Coast Highway. They are waterproof, protected me from road heat with good air flow, kept me warm in the high elevations. I wore them for 36 days straight without a wash. They didn't stink, they weren't scratchy or uncomfortable. They are simply the best riding pants I've owned. I bought a second pair to match the color of my new bike.

Klim | Carlsbad Pant

Used it to prepare and eat 12 meals during Dirt Daze in North Haverhill New Hampshire . Very sturdy easy to clean

Helinox | Table One Hard Top

I really like this stool! Very light-weight, yet sturdy enough to hold me while I'm maneuvering around getting my boots on. I weigh 195.

Compass 360° XT Swivel Stool - Extra Tall

Pillow is very compact and light-weight. Just what you want in bike-packing gear. Importantly, it holds the amount of air and pressure that you put in for a good night's sleep

NEMO | Fillo Elite Wide Ultralight Backpacking Pillow

Tried both pillows and both are great. Mandatory to get a good nights sleep when traveling.

NEMO | Fillo Wide Camping Pillow

They fit great in my motor cross riding boots. The only caution I have for others: don't let them come in contact with the velco on the boots. If you let that happen, they get "tufted" in that area of the sock.

Customer photo review of Sea to Summit | Frontier Ultralight Collapsible One Pot Cook Set - (5 Piece)

Bought this set just before a motocamping trip to the Redwoods and it it helped to save room in the kitchen pack as well as having a pan that I could cook on was pretty great. I feel that it was a bit pricey but extra space on a bike is never cheap. Now that I have used it I feel that it was worth the extra bucks spent.

Customer photo review of Sea to Summit | Evac Compression Dry Bag

I have carried my clothes for multi-day trips in a generic dry bag for years - wish I had discovered these sooner! The picture is of my old clothes bag with contents and the 8l Sea to Summit compression dry bag -what a difference in space! I like them so much that I now have one for my food and another for my sleeping quilt!

Customer photo review of Dork in the Road Neck Gaiter

A nice, soft and useful neck gaiter! I got it to have a summer weight gaiter instead of the wool gaiters I have for winter comfort. 10/10!
