Event Overview:
Join us for an unforgettable weekend of camping and adventure riding in the heart of the Uwharrie National Forest. Chilly Willy Weekend is designed for riders of all skill levels and types. Whether you're a seasoned rider looking to tackle the technical trails of the Uwharrie OHV area, or a beginner excited to explore the scenic gravel and tarmac loops, this event has something for everyone.
What does the ticket cost cover:
Ticket sales are per person. The ticket costs covers our use of a private venue for camping in the middle of Uwharrie NF, meals, beverages, event essentials like on-site porta-potties, fire pit, and venue amenities and a rally T-shirt!
All ticket prices are the same. Select the option the best fits your camping style so we can arrange the camping areas accordingly.

- Friday, December 6: Check-in (2pm), setup camp, afteroon rides
- Saturday, December 7: Full-day riding adventures / Training with DC Dirt Camp
- Sunday, December 8: Morning rides, pack-up, and departure by 12PM

Venue amenities:
- Onsite camping
- Ample parking for trucks, trailers, RVs.
- Men's and Women's restroom with showers.
- Portable toilets
- Campfire: Large group campfire for gathering and staying warm
Camping:
- Bring your tents, trailers, or campers; there’s plenty of space for everyone!
- Basic campsite facilities will be provided, but come prepared for rustic conditions.
- All camping is self-sufficient, no water or electric hookups. Toilets and hand wash stations will be on-site.
Off Road Training:
- Adventure and Dual Sport off road training offered by DC Dirt Camp.
- You must register for training on the DC Dirt Camp Website.

Riding Details:
Explore the beautiful terrain of Uwharrie and beyond with GPX routes tailored for adventure and dual-sport riders. All GPX routes will be shared before the event.
Riding Options:
Beginner-friendly loop: 100-mile gravel/tarmac loop perfect for new riders and big bikes.
Intermediate loop: A 100-mile loop plus some big-bike-friendly OHV trails for skilled riders. Riders will need to purchase a pass (available at the Outpost).
Sand practice loop: Ride down to the Hoffman Gamelands for some sand practice, perfect for those prepping for the South Carolina Adventure Route (SCAR).
Uwharrie OHV technical trails: For those looking for a challenge, all Uwharrie OHV trails will be shared. Riders will need to purchase a pass (available at the Outpost).
Ride at your own pace, explore with friends or solo. There will be suggested ride times but no formal groups.

Included:
- Morning Coffee: Fresh coffee served every morning.

Hot Water On Tap: We will keep hot water ready for making tea or other drinks to keep you warm.
- Basic Breakfast: Light breakfast options available to fuel you for the day's adventure.
- Dinner: A hot, hearty meal will be provided on both Friday and Saturday evenings. Gather around the campfire to enjoy some great food and camaraderie.
Not Included:
Lunch: Riders will be out on the trails during the day and should pack their own lunches. Nearby towns also have options for those looking for a quick bite.
Training: Training will be offered by DC Dirt Camp and will need to be registered and paid for on the DC Dirt Camp Site
What to Bring:
- Camping Gear: Tent, sleeping bag, and camping essentials for a December camping experience.
- Motorcycle Gear: Helmet, protective gear, and all riding essentials. Be prepared for cold conditions.
- Tools & Spares: Basic tools for your motorcycle, tubes, or patches.
- Lunch/Snacks: While we provide breakfast and dinner, you’ll need your own provisions for lunch while out riding.
- OHV Pass: If you plan to ride the Uwharrie OHV trails, you’ll need a pass, which can be purchased at the Outpost.

Coffee Mug/Cup: Help us keep waste down and bring your favorite coffee cup!
Event Rules:
- Leave No Trace/TREAD Lightly! Respect the environment: Uwharrie is a national treasure. Let’s leave it better than we found it.
- Safety first: Helmets and protective gear are required at all times while riding.
- Ride responsibly: Stay on designated trails and follow all national forest regulations.
Ticket Type: All tickets are the same price. Select the ticket type that best describes how you will be camping so we can arrange the campsites accordingly.
Price: $90 for the full weekend includes camping, coffee, breakfast, dinner and T-shirt.

Friday, December 6: Check-in and camp setup, afternoon ride.
