In warmer conditions, the Free-Flow Zip system lets you unzip in different configurations for superior ventilation and even open up flat to turn the Ascent sleeping bag into a quilt on the warmest of nights. All of the above make the Ascent a true three-season backcountry bag, one of very few on the market. Close the snaps at the shoulders, open the footbox zipper and wear the Ascent at camp - hardcore adventures don't have to be hard all the time.

Warranty

The Sea to Summit Guarantee is they promise to guarantee there products against manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship for the lifetime of the product. They choose the highest quality materials, build to the most exacting manufacturing standards, and rigorously test our products so we can deliver on this promise. They offer this guarantee to the original owner, with proof of purchase from an authorized Sea to Summit reseller, for the intended life of the product under normal use. The only exception to the Sea to Summit Guarantee is for products which are intended for use in situations which result in higher rates of wear and tear, which is why they have a limited warranty duration. In these cases, the duration of the warranty is clearly marked on the packaging and on our website.

This guarantee does not include damage due to improper use or care, accident, or negligence. This guarantee also excludes normal wear and tear and the breakdown of materials due to age, use, or environmental conditions.

Sea to Summit's liability for warranty claims will be limited to repair, replacement, or credit. The Sea to Summit Guarantee does not cover damage to products that are not Sea to Summit products but are stored in or used in conjunction with our products. All warranty decisions are left to the discretion of the Warranty & Returns Department.

Sea to Summit will not, under any circumstances, be liable for any direct, indirect, special or consequential damages resulting from a warranty claim, and in no event will Sea to Summit’s aggregate liability exceed the price paid for the product. Some states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitations of incidental or consequential damages so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
